Peles and Pelisor Castle

Peles Castle combines Gothic refinement with innovation, thus managing to be one of the most spectacular buildings of this kind in Europe. Although much smaller, Pelisor Castle is characterized by the same royal elegance. You can visit the two castles from Tuesday to Sunday. Discover the Hall of Arms, the secret door to the library and Queen Mary's Tiffany Collection. All within walking distance of Hotel Sinaia.

Sinaia Monastery

17TH Century Heritage
At the end of the 1600s, the backrest Mihail Cantacuzino makes a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Mount Sinai . On his return, he lays the foundation stone of the Sinaia Monastery - now an oasis of peace and spirituality for the hurried traveler. The beautiful Sinaia Monastery is close to the train station and Peles and Pelisor Castle.

Dimitrie Ghica Park

Casino Sinaia
A walk through the "Dimitrie Ghica" Park, just two minutes from Hotel Sinaia, will remind you of the aristocratic air of yesteryear. The impressive building of Casino Sinaia was inaugurated with great pomp in 1913. The ceremony was attended by members of the royal family, and George Enescu gave an extraordinary concert.

George Enescu

Memorial House Villa Luminiș represented for the brilliant composer George Enescu a refuge and a place dedicated to inspiration. Come and see the piano where the master composed some of his most famous works.

Franz Josef Rock

Royal Sheepfold Follow the royal family's favorite route to climb up to 1,300 m. Up at the end of a winding path, the Franz Josef Rock awaits you and a spectacular view of the Prahova Valley . Near the Rock is Poiana Stânii , a great place for an altitude picnic.

Bolboci Lake

Landscape A lake created by the Ialomița dam at 1,460 m. The mountain landscape is simply impressive , and trout fishing is a unique way to relax. The lake is only 8 km from Sinaia.

Omu Peak

The Highest Point If you dare to climb up to 2,505 m, you will reach the highest permanently inhabited place in Romania: Vârful Omu meteorological station . The route is not difficult, being sprinkled with real wonders of nature: corner flowers, black goats, waterfalls.
